When entering a carpark, a barrier bar will lift up for a car to pass through. When a train passes by, a barrier bar will come down to stop the cars from driving past. This Access Barrier Kit simulates such a barrier bar.
The kit uses a servo motor to lift up/down the barrier bar and is programmable using an Arduino microcontroller or BBC Micro:bit. The bar has two LEDs (Red and Blue) which can be individually controlled.
No soldering is required - the LEDs and pin headers are already soldered onto the bar and holder respectively.
Note: The servo motor can be driven directly by Micro:bit version 2, but not version 1. Breadboard and Micro:bit are not included.
Kit includes:
- 180 Degree Servo motor
- Female to female jumper wire
- Access Barrier set
- M2 screws and nuts
