2-CH IR Remote Motor Controller (Soldering Kit)

This fun little soldering kit contains all the parts required to make a 2-channel infra-red remote motor controller.

The kit features a microcontroller that takes command from an infra-red receiver and controls the speed of two motors individually. Using an infra-red keypad and four AA size batteries, you will be able to move your robot car forward, turn left and turn right. The board also supports three speed mode: low, mid and high speed.

You should be able to assemble this kit in 10-30 minutes with basic soldering skills.

The kit comes with:

• a construction guide
• a printed circuit board for soldering
• all the components to be soldered on the board (including the microcontroller and its socket)
• a 4xAA battery holder
• an infra-red keypad

Items not included in this kit:

• Soldering tools and wire cutter
• 2WD Robot chassis (featured in the photo)
